Editing a Spline

You can edit a spline using spline points and handles.

  1. In the work area, click an existing spline.
    When you click a spline, all handles appear in their default inactive state.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click a point on a spline and drag it.

      When you click on a point, a handle specific to that point appears in the default inactive state.

    • Click a handle and drag it in a direction to adjust the spline shape.

      To make an inactive handle active you can drag it or apply constraints to it.

    Note: The handles have two states, active and inactive. Using active handles, you can edit the spline shape. Inactive handles have no influence over spline curve. You can make inactive handle active by either dragging it or by applying constraints to it. Deleting an active handle makes it inactive.
