Replaying Animation Results

You can play back the animation of a selected kinematics or dynamics analysis step to verify the motion of the mechanism and its elements through time.

Before you begin:
  • Run the simulation of an analysis case.
  • Select an analysis step under the Scenario node.

Computing Analysis Cases
  1. From the Results section of the action bar, click Play Animation .
    The animation player appears, and the animation of the analysis step starts.
  2. During the animation, you can use the following options:
    OptionDescription
    Pauses the animation.
    Plays the animation.
    / Pauses the animation and skips to the previous or next frame.
    Loops the play animation.
  3. Optional: Use the animation slider to move the animation forward or backward to a specific frame.
  4. Click to close the animation player.
