Solving Mechanisms

You can solve a mechanism to update the position of the bodies and joints in your model.

  1. In the tree, select a mechanism.
  2. From the Mechanism section of the action bar, click Mechanism Solve .
    The position of the bodies and joints included in the mechanism is updated.

You can display the solver messages associated with the solve process. For more information, see Displaying Solver Messages.
