Creating Allocation View

You can create an allocation view containing allocated function and logical components.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin:
  • Create a root function component containing a function component.
  • Create a root logical component containing a logical component.
  • Create an implement link between the root components.

Create Automatically Allocation View

You can generate an allocation view where the allocated function and logical components are automatically placed.

  1. Select the root components.
  2. From the Diagram section of the action bar, select Create Allocation View .
  3. Enter a name for the sheet and the allocation view.
  4. Create an implement link between the logical and the function component.
    The implement link appears between the two selected components. From the allocation view, you can display the implement relations with the traceability matrix.
  5. You can create a reference-reference link or an occurrence-occurrence link.
