Configuring Defects

You can define the lifecycle states in which a defect is being evaluated (triaged).

  1. Create or open the text file for customized properties. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
  2. To define which lifecycle states define a defect as being in the triage process, follow these steps:
    1. Add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object:

      emxSemiTeamCollab.TriageDefectStates = Submit,Evaluate

      The lifecycle states listed here are used to determine if a defect is still in the triage process. That is, the defect shows on the Defect Assessment Dashboard.

    2. Set the value for this property depending on your business requirements. You can enter a comma-separated list of valid lifecycle states.
  3. When you are finished updating the text file with all properties that you want to modify, use the text file to modify the emxSemiTeamCollab.properties page object. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
