Development Areas Page

Development areas are the workspaces associated with a development instance. Enterprise DesignSync Administration lets you view the people who own and use those areas, and what assignments they have. Development areas can be shared so that more than one developer can work in the same physical development area directory.

When viewing the list of areas for a development, the page includes all development areas for all development instances of that development. This information allows developers to evaluate the potential impact of changes made to developments. Development areas cannot be created within the3DEXPERIENCE platform. Instead, development areas are created (and later deleted) in Synchronicity ProjectSync.
