Development Setting Properties

The properties page for a development setting lists the attributes that define it.

Required access roles:

  • App-specific: Defect Engineer
  • Baseline: Leader or a user with Review and Approve (RWA) license

Field NameDescription
NameThe name of the development setting.
RevisionThe revision value of the development setting.
State

One of these values:

  • Reference
  • Make Copy
  • Make Branch

DescriptionA detailed description of the development setting.
StoreThe DesignSync server.
PathThe path to the settings module.
SelectorThe name of the branch.

Actions/Toolbar Commands

You only see an action for changing the development setting to that state if all these statements are true:

  • That state is not the current state
  • This development setting is connected to only one development
  • The associated development currently has no development instances attached

Action NameDescription
To Make Copy Changes the state to Make Copy.
To Make Branch Changes the state to Make Branch.
To Reference Changes the state to Reference.
