Creating an Opening with a 3D Object

This topic describes how to create an opening at the intersection of the 3D object.

  1. In the Applied on box, select a panel or a plate on which you want to create opening.
  2. Click Create 3D Object Opening .
  3. In the 3D Object Opening dialog box, define the 3D object opening:
    1. In the Category list, select the opening type.
    2. In the Element box, select the extruding element.

      You can select a 3D element such as a closed surface, a volume, or a solid.

    3. From the Forming list, select the required forming mode.
    4. Click Apply.
      The inputs are applied.
    5. Click OK.
    The opening is created.
