Creating a Parametric Plate

Parametric Plate lets you create a parametric plate using a contour.

Before you begin: Assign the Structure Reference Catalog or the Structure Reference Library resource in Data Setup.
  1. Under Material & Orientation, specify material and thickness, and set the orientation options.
  2. Under Category & Name, select the required category for parametric plate from the Category list.
  3. From the Contour list, select a contour reference.
  4. Under Contour Positioning, select the required positioning strategy and specify the appropriate inputs:

    3D Axis

    Plate/Stiffener

    Stiffener/Stiffener

    Multi Limits

  5. Under Contour Parameters, modify the contour parameters.
  6. Click OK.
