Editing a Chamfer

You can edit an already existing chamfer.

  1. To edit a chamfer, do any of the following:
    • In the Chamfer panel, select a required chamfer row and click Edit .
    • In the 3D area or in the tree, select a chamfer and click Edit Chamfer on the context toolbar.
  2. Optional: In the Chamfer Detail panel, edit the following chamfer details:
    • Replace the chamfer contour.
    • Specify the Start Offset and End Offset values to create the chamfer over a specific length of the edge. You can also use handles in the 3D area.
    • Edit the public parameters for the chamfer contour.
    Tip: You can also use the Edit button to define a new chamfer manually. To do so,
    1. Deselect all rows and then click Edit .
    2. In the Edge box, select an edge that needs to be chamfered.
    3. Specify the start and end offsets, if required.
    4. Specify the contour parameters (vertical and horizontal lengths).
  3. Close the panel.
  4. To delete a chamfer,
    • In the Chamfer panel, select a required chamfer row and click Delete .
    • In the 3D area or in the tree, select a chamfer and click Delete Chamfer on the context toolbar.
