Properties Configuration Sample
The following parameters specify the configuration for the Properties command:
Node Value Description
Type None Node defining a new PLM Type to be taken into account.
Type > Name String Specifies the name of the object.

This parameter considers the following values:

  • A PLM type name as found in the Installation and Setup: Configure: Customize: 3DEXPERIENCE Platform: 3DSpace Data Model: Unified Typing Reference Dictionary: Packages.
  • The string "Undefined" sets the definition of attribute display for all the types which are not defined in this XML.

Type > Feature String Specifies the type of a feature inside the PLM object for which you want a specific attribute to display.

The feature must be retrieved when selecting the 2D element.

For example, if you want a specific attribute display for a SFD feature such as StiffenerOnFreeEdge, the parameter name must be Structure_System to define the PLM object and feature must be StiffenerOnFreeEdge.

The type name must be as defined in the Reference Library: Enterprise Knowledge Language Reference Guide: Reference Information: Knowledge Packages.

Type > Attributes None Specifies the list of attributes to display.

The attributes are displayed according to the order in this XML.

The first attribute in the list is visible in the main text box of the command.

Type > Attributes > Value String Specifies the value for the attributes.

The parameter considers the following values:

  • Attribute name as it appears in:
    • Installation and Setup: Configure: Customize: 3DEXPERIENCE Platform: 3DSpace Data Model: Unified Typing Reference Dictionary: Packages for a PLM Type
    • Reference Library: Enterprise Knowledge Language Reference Guide: Knowledge Packages for a feature type.
  • IGNORE_DEFAULT not to display the standard list of attributes provided by Drafting Template Design for every type of objects.

Specify only once per type. If IGNORE_DEFAULT is not there, a default list of attribute is displayed after the defined list.
