Creating and Editing the Extension Line Features

You can create or edit the features of extension lines such as gap and overrun in the annotation template.

Before you begin: Create a detail sheet containing an annotation template.
  1. From the Smart Annotation Templates section of the action bar, click Extension Line Feature .
  2. In the Extension Line panel, specify the required values for the following:
    OptionDescription
    Gap It is the distance between the rebar and the extension line.
    Overrun It is the additional length of the extension line from the annotating symbol.
