Drafting Offline Mode

The Drafting app is compatible with the Offline mode. It enables you to work for a limited period of time without connecting to the system.

All Drafting commands, except those listed in the table below, are available in Offline mode.

Bill of Material

  • Right-click a bill of materials and select Update Bill of Material
  • Right-click a bill of materials and select Properties > BOM Format, Reported Properties

Views of filters are not supported in offline mode because their associated 3D data is not loaded. Therefore, the commands listed below are unavailable when the active view in the drawing points to a filter.

  • Right-click the view and select Unbreak
  • Right-click and select Definition on a broken profile operator or a callout

Breakout View

  • Right-click the view and select Remove Breakout
  • Right-click the view and select Apply Breakout To
  • Right-click and select Definition on a breakout profile operator or a callout

Add 3D Clipping

  • Right-click the view and select View Definition > 3D Clipping > Remove 3D Clipping
  • Right-click the view and select View Definition > 3D Clipping >Apply 3D Clipping

Note: You can generate views from 3D Tolerancing & Annotation in the offline mode. However, you cannot generate views from 2D Layout for 3D Design which have PLM filters.

The commands listed below are unavailable for all generative views having PLM filters.

  • Right-click the view and select Modify Projection Plane
  • Right-click the view and select Synchronize View Definition
  • Right-click the view and select Overload Properties
  • Right-click the view and select Apply Overload Properties To
  • Right-click the view and select Modify Links
  • Right-click the view and select Apply Links To
  • Right-click the view and select Generative View Style
  • Right-click the view and select Restore Properties
  • Right-click the view and select Update Selection

All the options available in the Generation tab when you right-click a view and select Properties.
