About Bend Data Table

This section describes the Pipe Spool bend data tables.

This page discusses:

Description

If the spool contains bent pipe(s), then the bend data table is generated in the drawing.

The table is as shown below.

Representation Description

Position number

Including extra field length.

Excluding extra clamp length.

Machine that can bend the pipe.

Fabrication length = 4442 + 169 + 149.

Coordinates relative to end of end,

Including extra field length, and excluding extra clamp length.

Extra length for clamping.

Extra material for field adjustment at the start and end of the pipe.

Design length (4292 + 75 +75 = 4442).

Distance between tangents.

Distance to 1st tangent.

Distance between centers or ends.

Important: The D.B.C. / D.B.T. / DIST 1st TANG parameters and the XYZ coordinates include the extra field length, but do not include the extra length for clamping. While positioning the 1st bend using D.B.C. or D.B.T., add extra length for clamping.

The fabrication length is the design length increased with the extra field lengths and the additional lengths needed for clamping on the bending machine.

The pipe corresponding to the above table is shown below:

The explanation of D.B.C., D.B.T., DIST 1ST TANG, BEND RADIUS, and BEND ANGLE are explained below:

Data Not Represented in the Bend Data Table

The following data is not represented directly in the bend data table. It can be calculated from the represented figures:
