Concepts

Note: You cannot copy a view with certain GVS elements.

View Copy command supports re-creation of the following:

  • View geometry
  • Multi-Discipline Drafting and Drafting annotations
  • Drafting dimensions
  • 2D components and text
  • Picture components

Synchronize

In the tree, right-click the node and select Synchronize result view .

You can re-create a view (synchronize) again with original view. This removes all the elements and modifications, and refreshes the view.

Join Views Together into One

The process of joining multiple views together in one is same as creating a view, with exception of destination view being the same. The command needs to be run separately for each new view.

A new node is created for each new set of elements copied to the destination view.

In the tree, right-click the node and select Join copied geometry .

Delete a View Copy

In the tree, right-click the node and select Delete.

An automated process removes all the elements. No additional update is required.
