Creating a Rebar Layer Annotation

You can manually create rebar layer annotations in a rebar view.


Before you begin: Open a 3D rebar layer feature containing a rebar drawing.

  1. From the Smart Annotation section of the action bar, click Multi-Object Annotation .
  2. In the Multi-Object Annotation dialog box, click Catalog Browser and select a template.

    Note: The template for the rebar layer annotation must be relevant to it and the object selected must be a 3D rebar layer feature.

    The Display Properties section is hidden.
  3. In the 3D area, select the required object corresponding to the rebar layer.
  4. From the Leader list, select Yes to keep the leader, or select No to remove the leader.
  5. Optional: Under Parameters, click Show to modify the unlocked parameters.

Notes:
  • The extension lines are managed when the annotation is dragged outside the rebar layer.

    By default, the extension lines have black color, and an offset and overrun of 2mm. The graphic properties, and the values of the offset and overrun cannot be customized.

  • The annotation supports only the following:
    • Single rebar layers
    • Rebar layers with linear pattern
