Managing Template Links

You can manage the template links.

All Multi-Discipline Drafting objects such as Grid, Elevation mark, Floor plan, Sheet, many more use template principles. These templates are stored in chapters or a catalog and are imported in the drawing when used by a particular object. The link to the reference in the catalog is kept. It can be managed with the commands described in the next section.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open a drawing containing a view created using a template.

  1. Select an object.
  2. From the Smart Template Management section of the action bar, click Synchronize Template .
The selected object is synchronized with its template.
Note: Objects isolated from its reference cannot be synchronized.

Object synchronization is not available, if the reference template is modified.
