Open a simulation process.

Select the activity, and click Add new annotations .
The Note Editor appears.

In the Note text box, type the annotation.

Click Word wrap note to wrap the text onto a new line after the number of characters that you specify in the corresponding text box. By default, the text appears on a single line.

Change the Font size using the up and down arrows.

Click B or I to make the text appear in bold or in italics.
- To change the background color, do the following:
- Click the palette.
The Choose Color dialog box appears. - Use the Square with Hue or Color Wheel tabs to select a color.
- Use the Transparency slider or the up and down arrows to change the transparency of the background.
- Click Ok to save your changes and to close the Choose Color dialog box.
- Click Ok to save your changes and to close the Note Editor.
- Perform any of the following actions:
- View a large annotation. Double-click the annotation to view the text in the Note Editor. Because there is a limit to the amount of information the annotation can display directly on the process diagram, you can use this option to view all the information.
- Edit an existing annotation. Double-click the annotation to open the Note Editor. Change the annotation, and click Ok to update the annotation.
- Remove the annotation. Right-click the annotation, and click Delete.
- Hide or show an individual annotation. From the context toolbar, hover the mouse over Annotation, and then click Show/Hide.
- Hide or show all the annotations. From the action bar, click Annotation to hide/show all the annotations in the simulation process.
- Optional: Save the simulation process.
