-
From the Flow section of the action bar,
click DOE
and drop it on
the process diagram.
-
Double-click DOE
.
The DOE Editor appears.
-
From the DOE Editor,
click the Responses tab.
-
Determine the output parameters that you want
to use as responses by selecting the corresponding check boxes in the
first column.
Note:
While the number of response quantities specified has no affect on the cost of running the
experiments and only slightly affects the cost of analyzing results, you must be
careful to focus on key quantities that directly relate to the performance/quality of
the product to specify as responses. This action eases the interpretation of results
in making design decisions.
-
Specify an objective (minimize, maximize, or target) and any appropriate weighting
factor in the corresponding columns.
You can use this option to screen for the most influential factors and to estimate an optimal
design. It is also used to determine the “best” point of all the designs that ran.

Click Ok to save your changes
and to close the DOE Editor.
