Configuring the Parameter Scan Technique

You can configure the Parameter Scan Technique (Main Effects Screening).

  1. From the Flow section of the action bar, click DOE and drop it on the process diagram.
  2. Double-click DOE .
    The DOE Editor appears.
  3. From the General tab's DOE Technique list, select Parameter Scan.
  4. In the DOE Technique Options area, click Run baseline point if you want an additional point to run in which all factors are set to their baseline values.
    Including a baseline design point allows for the Parameter Scan technique to be used exactly as a simple finite differencing technique for sensitivity calculations (that is, the effective difference caused by each factor is independently varied by some small difference from a baseline design).
  5. Click Ok to save your changes and to close the DOE Editor.
