Stopping and Pausing Jobs

You can stop a job that is currently running, or pause a job that is currently running and resume it later.

This task shows you how to:

Stop Running Jobs

  1. Run a simulation process.
    A job monitoring panel appears
  2. Click Abort .

    The stopped job appears in the Jobs list in the tree.

Pause Job Execution

  1. Run a simulation process.
    A job monitoring panel appears.
  2. From the job monitor panel, click Pause .

    Optimization Process Composer pauses the job.

    Work items that have already been submitted to the 3DOrchestrate Station will run, but additional work items will not be dispatched.

  3. Click Resume to restart execution.
