Specifying Word Separator Preferences

You can specify the character that serves as a word separator in the text file. You should specify the word separator before creating any mappings or markers.

  1. Remove all existing markers. From the marker list below the text display panel, select each marker one by one and from the lower right corner of the text display panel, click .
As you delete each marker, any mappings associated with it are also deleted.
  2. Remove any remaining mappings not associated with a marker. Select each parameter individually and from the center of the dialog, click .

Tip: It may be easier to remove all existing parameters, which will also delete all their mappings: Select the first parameter; then scroll to the end of the list and shift-select the last parameter. Click .

  3. From below the text display panel, select the Word Separators that specify where a value ends in the text file.

You can select Space and/or Tab. You can also enter an additional character that serves as a word separator, such as a comma or a semicolon.
