Activating the Engineering Connection Specifications
You can define engineering connection specifications to detect and compute interferences between two parts or products during the simulation.
To define interference check specifications, open the Mechanical Systems Design app, and click the Engineering Connection command. In the Engineering Connection Definition dialog box, click the Interferences tab to define the check specifications.
To enforce interference checks during the simulation, you need to activate the engineering connection check specifications. In Mechanical Systems Experience, use the Interference Probe command to activate them.
In the Specifications tab, you can define the interference computation options. Interferences are then detected according to defined check options. To compute the interference status, the check specifications are taken from the Engineering Connection Definition dialog box.
If no check specifications are defined, the interference status is computed using the Clash specification (standard specification defined by default).
