Negating Curves

You can negate curves in an XY plot.


Before you begin: An XY plot must be open.

To negate a curve, right-click it and select Edit > Negate Curve.
The following is the result:
  • The curve is negated, that is, the abscissa values now have opposite values.
  • The original curve is removed.
  • The negation is indicated by a minus sign in front of the name of the negated curve in the legend.
Note: If you negate a curve twice, you get back the original curve.
