Defining OPC UA Servers

You can define the list of servers used to communicate.

Before you begin: Open an existing system experience.

  1. From the Edit section of the action bar, click Switch Mode to activate the edit mode.
  2. From the Standard area of the action bar, click OPC UA Information Panel .
  3. In the OPC UA Information Panel, click Create .
  4. To define a server, enter the following information:
    OptionDescription
    Equipment Number The default equipment number or another number.
    URL The URL to reach the server, which contains the equipment, when connected as a client.
    Update Rate The frequency.

    Note: You can remove a server by clicking Delete .
