Creating Advanced Connections

Advanced Connection lets you create advanced connections by executing the action rules, set in Data Setup.

Before you begin: Set Rules catalog or Rules Library in Data Setup. The administrator can add required rules to the rules catalog/library.
  1. In the Type list, select the name of the chapter.
  2. In the Rules list, select the required rule.
  3. In the Geometry tab, select the structural objects.

    Here, we are selecting two stiffeners.

  4. Click OK.
    The action rule is executed and the advanced connections are created.
    The stiffeners are limited to each other, and an end cut and a slot are created.
