Slot lets you create slots
and collars on plates and stiffeners for the free passage of stiffeners.
In the
Penetrated Element box, select a panel or a
stiffener.
In the
Penetrating Element box, select stiffeners.
Tip:
To select all the stiffeners
attached to a plate, select the plate. All the attached stiffeners get
selected.
Select the rows, right-click the
Slot column, and select
Define/Edit Slot to define slots.
In the
Define Feature and Parameters dialog box,
select a slot type from the
Slot Type list.
In the
Slot Name list, select the required slot.
The slot parameters, collar parameters, and collar
material and orientation are displayed under the
Parameters area. The public parameters of
slot and collar are displayed in respective tabs.
Select the
Linked to reference check box to link the
instantiated slot with its slot reference.
Optional:
Right-click the
Forming Mode column to select the required
mode.
