Generating a Report

You can generate a report for the objects defined in the Report Definition Template.


Before you begin: Make sure you defined a report format and opened or created a representation before generating a report.

  1. Open your representation.
  2. Select Share > Export > Knowledge Report.
    The Report Generation dialog box is displayed
  3. Click Select.
    The XML Document Chooser dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the name of the report template and click Search.
    The result of the search are displayed in the XML Document Chooser dialog box.
  5. Double-click the report template in the XML Document Chooser dialog box.
    You are back in the Report Generation dialog box.
  6. Select the All Objects in Session check box to apply your report on all the objects in the session.

    To select objects in the representation, select the Selected Objects check box.

  7. Click Generate Report.
    A PanelReport dialog box appears.
  8. Click SaveAs to save the report.

    The report can be saved in HTML, XML, XLS, TXT format.
