Levels of PermissionsDepending on the object type you select and your own permissions, you can share objects with the following permissions:
If you shared an object with the same user, user group, or collaborative space/organization pair, but with different permissions, the last assigned permissions are granted. For example, if you share an object with User 1 with Can Edit permissions, and then with Can Read permissions, Can Read permissions are granted to User 1, and Can Edit permissions are removed. Inherited PermissionsUsers can have access to an object thanks to permissions inherited from another object. For example, they can inherit permissions from a Bookmark Workspace or a Bookmark Folder. For more information, see Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Team Central: Bookmark Workspaces: About Bookmark Workspaces. Permissions on an object that are inherited from another parent object cannot be modified or removed at this object's level. To modify or remove them, search for the parent object the permissions are inherited from, and open the Sharing tab of the Information panel to make the required changes. |
