More About Hangers and Pegs

Hangers and pegs allow you to define the hanging point of the 3D representation in Pack Manager for Store Studio.

This page discusses:

Hanger Models

Each hanger available in Pack Manager has its own dimensions to correspond to a specific 3D representation.

Here is the hangers information:

Hanger Parameters

You can define the hangers parameters directly in the representation web-form without launching the Pack Manager experience to generate 3D representations with the Pack Manager batch.

In the app, each box corresponds to a specific parameter:

Box NamesParameters
HangerPositioningModeAllows you to define the hanger position to Default or Custom.

  • The Default value places the hanger at the center of the top face, and all the axes are automatically defined.
  • The Custom value allows you to specify the position of the hanger.

HangerModelAllows you to pick a hanger model.
HangerPositionX [-0.5, 0.5]Allows you to define the position of the X axis. The X axis is positioned relatively to the width of the model. If the dimensions of the model are modified, the X axis is modified accordingly.
HangerPositionYAllows you to define the position of the Y axis. The Y axis is positioned relatively to the depth of the model.
HangerPositionZ [-0.5, 0.5]Allows you to define the position of the Z axis. The Z axis is positioned relatively to the height of the model. If the dimensions of the model are modified, the Z axis is modified accordingly.

You can also simultaneously modify these parameters by clicking Mass Update in the representation table of the assortment.

Peg Parameters

You can define the pegs parameters directly in 3D Merchandising without launching the Pack Manager experience to generate 3D representations with the Pack Manager batch.

In the app, each box corresponds to a specific parameter:

Box NamesParameters
Peg1PositionDefinedAllows you to specify the peg to False or True.

  • The False value indicates that no peg has been defined.
  • The True value specifies if a peg has been defined.

Peg1PositionDirectionAllows you to specify the angle of the peg.
Peg1PositionHeight (normalized value)Allows you to define the peg hole, and how high it is located on the model. This value is positioned relatively to the dimensions of the model. If the dimensions of the model are modified, the peg coordinates are modified accordingly.
Peg1PositionWidth (normalized value)Allows you to define the peg hole, and its location on the width line of the model. This value is positioned relatively to the dimensions of the model. If the dimensions of the model are modified, the peg coordinates are modified accordingly.

You can define up to six pegs for each representation. All pegs are positioned with respect to the marketing view of the representation.

You can also simultaneously modify these parameters by clicking Mass Update in the representation table of the assortment.
