About File Naming Conventions

To name the images that you want to import, follow the naming conventions related to the organization of your directories and the images.

The supported image structure is (example with multiple representations):

  • UPC_rep1_Front.png
  • UPC_rep2_Front.png
Note: Your Business Administrator can configure this structure.

The name of the images includes the following.

  • A product UPC/ EAN (usually 10 to 13 digits or letters).
  • A view name (the view can either correspond to the perspective of the image or a number. For example, the same image can be named UPC_1.png or UPC_Front.png).

    1 Front
    2 Left
    3 Back
    7 Top
    8 Right
    9 Bottom

  • An extension.

Important: The separator defined in the configuration file must not be included in the UPC or view name.

The naming convention for importing Collada archive (.zae) files is as follows:

  • For high resolution models: EAN number_HighResolutionModel
  • For medium resolution models: EAN number_MediumResolutionModel
  • For low resolution models: EAN number_LowResolutionModel
  • For very low resolution models: EAN number_VeryLowResolutionModel
Non archived Collada (.dae) files are not supported.
