Adaptations

This page lists the adaptations for retail stores, retail categories, or retail clusters. For retail categories, adaptations are grouped under retail stores or retail clusters. For retail stores and retail clusters, the adaptations are grouped under retail categories.

Required access roles: Author, Leader, Reader, Contributor, Owner

To access this page:

Open a retail store, retail category, or a retail cluster. For more information, see Opening a Retail Store, Opening a Retail Category, or Opening a Retail Cluster.
In the navigation pane, click Adaptations.

Column	Description
Title	The title of the adaptation.
Quick Launch	Click to open the adaptation in Store Studio. Click to open the First Person Shopper experience, if the adaptation is prepared for the First Person Shopper experience. Click to view the merchandising guide, if it is generated for the adaptation. Shows if the merchandising guide is not updated.
Thumbnail	The image of the adaptation.
State	The lifecycle state of the adaptation.
Date	The start date of the adaptation.
Adapted From	The gondola that is adapted.
Owner	Owner of the adaptation.

Action	Description	For More Information
Store Studio	Opens the adaptation in Store Studio. You can open an adaptation in Store Studio only if it has an origin or if it was saved in Store Studio. An Author, Leader, or Reader can open an adaptation in Store Studio.	-
Create Adaptation	Creates an adaptation.	See Creating an Adaptation
Select Origin	Lets you select origin gondolas for adaptations. Shows a list of available nonempty gondolas, from which you can select a gondola as the origin of the selected adaptations. The gondolas are listed in order of relevance. Search for a gondola, select the gondola, and click Submit. An Author or a Leader can perform this action. Notes: If you select one or more adaptations and click Select Origin, you can select or modify the origin for each adaptation. If you select one or more retail objects and click Select Origin, you can select origin gondolas for all adaptations that are connected to the retail object and do not have origin gondolas assigned. If you do not select any object and click Select Origin, you can select origin gondolas for all adaptations that do not have origin gondolas assigned.	-
Delete Adaptation	Deletes the selected adaptations. An Author or a Leader can delete an adaptation. Select an adaptation and click Delete Adaptation. Click OK to confirm.	-
