Exporting 3D Merchandising Data

You can export 3D Merchandising data from the 3D Merchandising app to your computer. You can create collections of 3D Merchandising data and export them.

Required access roles: Author, Leader

Before you begin:
  • Create a collection. See Working with Collections in the 3DEXPERIENCE Basics User's Guide.
  • Search for the required 3D Merchandising data and add it to the collection.
  1. From the top bar, select > Export 3D Merchandising Data.
    The Export 3D Merchandising Data page appears. It displays the available collections that contain data.
  2. Select the required collection.
  3. Clear the Export Image check box if you do not want to export images.
    Use this option to reduce the size of the exported data.
    Note: If you use this option, the representations with source Photomodeling cannot be regenerated after import.
  4. Click Export.
    The selected collection is prepared for download. This may take time depending on the size of the data to be exported.
  5. Click Download and save the file to the required location.
    Note: The History tab lists the collections that you have already exported. You can download the files, view the export logs, or delete these export entries.
