Editing Merchandising Rules

You can edit merchandising rules used in Store Studio to check 3D Planograms and to ensure that they are correct. Merchandising rules associated to an assortment are used to check planograms associated to this assortment. Depending on the assortment specifications, you can edit the rules. You can activate or deactivate a rule, change the severity of the rule, and modify its parameters.

  1. Click the assortment.
  2. Click Rules.
    The Rules table appears.

    Each rule is listed in a separate section as per its category (group of rules). Title of a section is the rule id and the name of a rule. In each section, properties of the rules are listed in the following fields:

    StateThe state is Deactivated if a rule is not active.

    If a rule is active, it can have either of the following severity:

    • Error
    • Warning

    Description Rule content.
    Suggested CorrectionPossible correction.
    Parameter Value

    Rule’s parameters. Depending on the rules those parameters such as height, width, and mass.

  3. In the page toolbar, click Edit .
  4. Change the state and the parameter values of a rule.
  5. Click Done.
