Using the My 3D Merchandising Retail Widget

You can use the My 3D Merchandising Retail widget to manage space inventories for retail stores and retail clusters, view planograms associated with the retail store or retail category, view retail stores associated with the retail cluster for the retail category, and view retail clusters associated with the retail store for the retail category.

You can click , select Preferences and change the credentials. Credentials are shown in the collaborative space-organization-role format.

Required access role: Leader

The My 3D Merchandising Retail widget is a 3DDashboard widget. To use the widget, you can open the Compass and click the My 3D Merchandising Retail widget. You can also drag the widget to any tab.

Create or Modify a Space Inventory

You can create or modify inventories for a retail category.

Select a retail store or a retail cluster.
Select a retail category.
Select a date.
If any inventory exists for the selected date, you can modify the details of the inventory. If no inventory exists for the selected date, you can add new inventory.

Enter the following details.


Field Name	Description
Category Size	Select a category size.
Element Count	Shows the element count if an inventory exists for the selected date. Enter an element count or modify the existing one.
Reading Direction	Select a reading direction. Available options are Left to Right and Right to Left.
Gondola Section	Enter the name of the required gondola section. A list of matching gondola sections appears as you enter the name. Select a gondola section.

Click Record An Inventory.
The inventory is added or updated.
If you are creating or updating inventory for a retail store, and if a similar inventory exists for any retail clusters, a window appears displaying the list of those clusters. Select the required cluster and click Use Cluster to use the space inventory from the selected cluster for the retail store. The retail store becomes a part of the retail cluster.
Note: You can click Do not use to ignore the suggestions and create space inventory with the provided information. You can also click Stop suggesting clusters to stop further suggestions. If you want to restart suggestions, you can click , select Preferences, and change the value of to Yes.

Deactivate a Category for a Retail Store or a Retail Cluster

You can stop using a retail category for a retail store or a retail cluster if inventory exists for that day. A category is considered active only if you have created an inventory for that category.

Select a retail store or a retail cluster.
Select a retail category.
Select a date for which you have created an inventory for the retail category.
Click Stop Using Category.
The retail category and the corresponding inventories are deactivated. To activate the retail category, create an inventory for the retail category.
Note: Click to view the History page. This page shows the list of space inventories for a retail category. If the space inventories are deactivated, they are mentioned in the history.

Managing Planograms

You can view the planograms associated with a retail store for a retail category in the Planograms tab.

Select a retail store or a retail cluster.
Select a retail category.
Click the Planograms tab.
Select a date.
The planograms associated with the selected retail store or the retail cluster for the retail category appear. The best available planogram is shown first. Adaptations are shown in the Adaptations section, planograms associated with the assortment are shown in the Master Planograms section, and the actual planograms are shown in the Actual Planograms section.
Planograms are marked as NEW, RECENT, FUTURE, and OBSOLETE in green, yellow, black, and red colors, respectively, based on the configured criteria. Your business administrator can configure this criteria. You can also click to view the current configuration.
Optional: Click I need an Adapted Planogram to create an adapted planogram.
1. Enter the date, title, and description, and click Request.
The adaptation is created if any inventory exists for the selected date.
Optional: Click the name of the planogram.
The planogram opens in the My 3D Merchandising Content widget. For more information, see About the My 3D Merchandising Content Widget.

Managing Retail Clusters

You can view the retail clusters associated with the selected retail store for the retail category in the Clusters tab.

Select a retail store.
Select a retail category.
Click the Clusters tab.
Select a date.
The retail cluster associated with the selected retail store for the retail category that is effective for the selected date appear.
Optional: Perform one of the following actions to associate the selected retail store with a retail cluster.
- If the retail store is not associated with a retail cluster and you want to associate the retail store to a retail cluster, perform the following actions.
  1. Click Suggest Cluster.
    The Cluster Suggestion dialog box appears. It shows the retail clusters that have inventories similar to the retail store for the selected date.
  2. From the list, select a retail cluster and click Yes.
    The retail store is associated to the selected retail cluster.
- If the retail store is associated with a retail cluster, but you want to associate the retail store with another retail cluster, perform the following actions.
  1. Click Suggest Another Cluster.
    The Cluster Suggestion dialog box appears. It shows the retail clusters that have inventories similar to the retail store for the selected date.
  2. Select a different retail cluster and click Yes.
    The retail store is associated to the selected retail cluster.
Note: Click to view the History page. This page shows the list of effective inventories of the current retail cluster associated with the retail store.

Viewing Retail Stores

You can view the retail stores associated with the selected retail cluster for the retail category in the Stores tab.

Select a retail cluster.
Select a retail category.
Click the Stores tab.
Select a date.
The retail stores associated with the selected retail cluster for the retail category and are effective for the selected date appear.
