Synchronizing a Document

You can synchronize a document to apply the modifications made in the 3D Merchandising app to the document edited in Store Studio. Synchronizing allows you to keep a document up-to-date.

Required access roles: Author, Leader

  1. In the Data menu, click Synchronize .

    The objects that need to be updated are highlighted.



  2. To edit an object, click one of the following commands:
    • Refresh : To modify each object manually.
    • Delete : To remove deleted objects.
  3. To update an object, click one of the following commands:
    • Synchronize : To update all the objects at once.
    • Product : To update all the products at once.
    • Gondola: To update all the gondolas at once.
    • Consumer Decision Tree : To update the consumer decision tree.
    • Furniture: To update all the furniture at once.
    • Point of Sales Material: To update all the points of sale material at once.
    • Next Step (only available for storyboards): To move to the next step to update.

Notes:
  • The synchronization automatically allows you to change the inserted objects to their best so far revision (last Released state). With this functionality, you can insert an older or a more recent revision with the In Work state.
  • When you synchronize a document, the consumer decision tree is resized to match the default size defined in the sub assortment. The segment ratios and the horizontal dispositions in the consumer decision tree are preserved.
