Abaqus Study guides you through creating an Abaqus job that runs an Abaqus application, such as Abaqus/Standard. The user interface follows a logical sequence, and a preconfigured simulation template allows you to select the Abaqus input files, configure the Abaqus job options, select the compute environment, and choose which files to save from the analysis. Abaqus Study also provides tools to run the Abaqus job and to monitor the output. Custom JobsCustom jobs are available only if you have been assigned the Multi-Disciplinary Optimization Engineer (MDO) role. Abaqus Study can also guide you through creating a custom job to run a third-party application or an in-house script. However, in contrast to an Abaqus job, your methods developer must provide the simulation template that is used to set up the job creation user interface.
