Selecting the Abaqus Input Files

You can select the files to include in your Abaqus analysis, such as input files and user subroutine files.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: If you are including a user subroutine for on-premises execution, the operating system and compiler level must be consistent with those specified in the Program Directory for this release.

If you are including a user subroutine for cloud execution, you must use the abaqus make execution procedure to compile the user subroutine. In addition, when you select the files to include in your Abaqus analysis, you must provide the precompiled version of the shared library files (libstandardU.so for Abaqus/Standard or explicitU.so and libexplicitU-D.so for Abaqus/Explicit). Cloud execution of user subroutines is supported only on Linux VMs.

For more information, see Making user-defined executables and subroutines in the Abaqus Execution Guide.
