About Results

Antenna Placement updates the results each time you run a simulation.

Interface Basics

For each coverage test that you define, a corresponding result icon appears in the tree. When you run a simulation for a coverage test, the app computes and updates the results data. If you later modify your model or scenario (for example, you change the platform geometry or move a placement candidate), the results become outdated. Run the simulation again to update the results with the modifications to your simulation.

Important: Antenna Placement does not automatically delete outdated results. Instead, Antenna Placement displays a warning message if you view an outdated result.

The app applies a tree mask to each result icon to indicate its status.

Mask Meaning
Indicates that the result is outdated because features in your model or scenario were changed since the result was last computed.
Indicates that the result is outdated because an object used in your simulation was changed since the result was last computed.
Indicates that the result is up to date.
