Performance Study lets you:
- Review and edit the inputs and outputs to and from a simulation process.
- Edit the submission options for a simulation process
as
well as any simulation activities and steps it contains.
- Run a simulation process.
- Instantiate a simulation template to run a new simulation process.
- Monitor the jobs associated with a simulation process.
- Monitor the values of the parameters associated with a simulation process.
- Edit a simulation process with Process Composer (if you have the appropriate combination of credentials, role, and license).
- Analyze the results of a simulation process with Results Analytics.
In most cases, a methods developer within your company creates a simulation process using
Process Composer. The methods developer then uses
Process Experience Studio to create a
template that you, the simulation analyst, can open in Performance Study and use to run a new
process.
After the
process
runs, you can use Results Analytics or Performance Trade-off to examine or compare the
data
that the process generates. For example,
you can compare the results from a design of experiments study and select the optimal
design.
