The temperature that you define for a geometry at the start of a simulation might change during the simulation because of loading or thermal effects. For sequential thermal-stress simulations, you can specify an initial temperature during a step in the stress analysis case using a temperature value from a thermal step in the preceding thermal analysis case. When you define an initial temperature using this method, you can use the temperature from the last increment of the thermal step or one from an earlier increment. Imported initial temperature values can vary spatially throughout your model. |
