Publishing Co-Simulation Ports to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

You must publish your co-simulation ports to make your physics simulations available for use in the Multiscale Experiment Creation app.

Any port regions, input ports, or output ports that you have defined are saved to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform database in a format suitable for Multiscale Experiment Creation.

You can publish multiple abstractions for each component. After you have published the first abstraction with the current component, you can add additional co-simulation port features or edit existing port features and use Publish to Multi-scale Component again.

About Co-Simulation Interactions
  1. From the Interactions section of the action bar, click Publish to Multi-scale Component .
  2. Optional: If you are republishing this simulation, choose whether to create a new abstraction or update the existing abstraction.
  3. Review the summary list of co-simulation port features to be published, which might include port regions, input ports, and output ports.
  4. Click OK.

An informational dialog shows you the logical reference number for each published component as well as the logical representation reference number for each published abstraction. You might need these reference numbers to find your published simulations in the Multiscale Experiment Creation app and in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform database.
