Applying Void Ratios

You can use void ratios to define the ratio of the volume of voids to the volume of solid material in a porous medium.

About Void Ratios
  1. From the Initial Conditions section of the action bar, click Void Ratio .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
  3. Select the geometry support in the model.

    A void ratio can be applied to one or more 3D bodies.

  4. Enter the Ratio.

    The value must be between zero and one.

  5. Click OK.
