EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance

3DOrchestrate complies with the European Union (EU) GDPR regulation 2016/679 regarding data protection and privacy.

The 3DOrchestrate application executes third-party software applications; for example, Microsoft Excel or MATLAB. These third-party applications may add personally identifiable information (PII), which 3DOrchestrate cannot control.

The 3DOrchestrate application stores the following personally identifiable information in files and in its database:

  • Credentials: Domain, user ID, and password. Potentially, multiple credentials can be saved including primary login credentials, extended credentials, and credentials for data handlers.
  • Computer names and IP addresses.
  • File paths and URLs.
  • Various files are saved; a combination of file paths and machine name can point to a specific computer and user.
  • All job logs are retained.

    • If third-party software captures any personally identifiable information and outputs it on STDOUT/STDERR, it may be stored in the job log depending on the specific component configuration.
    • If a user writes any personally identifiable information to the job log via prologue/epilogue scripts, it will also be retained.
