Registering an EER Station as a Windows Service

After you generate a configuration file for the EER Station as a Windows Service, you can register the EER Station as a Windows Service.

  1. Open a Windows command prompt, and from the 3DOrchestrate home directory, run the following script: 

    .\code\command\SMAExeStationAsService-Register.bat

    The User Account Control dialog box appears.
  2. Click Yes.
  3. If the selected Windows account requires a password, enter it.
  4. Confirm the registration by doing the following:
    1. Select [Start menu] > Run.
    2. Enter services.msc, and click OK.

The Windows Services dashboard appears. If registration was successful, the service 3DEXPERIENCErelease number 3DOrchestration Station appears. You can double-click its row to open its properties dialog box and review its other settings.
