-
From the Create Simulation Template window that appears, enter

- Description: Enter a description that allows any user to
determine the function of this template.
- Template Content: Click
, and use the
3DSearch window that appears to select a simulation process
or an activity. Note:
You can use 6WTags
to filter the search results; for example, you can use the
Type and Originator tags to display
only simulation processes that you created.
- Template View: Select Custom View
to indicate that the template will be instantiated with a customized user interface.
Select One-click to indicate that the template will be
instantiated with a standard, or one-click, user interface.
Note:
If you select a
simulation process in the Template Content field, you can
create either a custom view or a one-click simulation template. However, if you
select a simulation activity in the Template Content field,
you can create only a one-click simulation template.
- Simulation Kind: From the list of simulation kinds,

- Attribute Group: Click

attribute groups. Simulation processes, simulation activities, and templates refer to
attribute groups, and, in turn, an attribute group refers to a set of simulation
attributes. Attribute groups allow users to create new simulation processes,
activities, and templates with predefined attributes.
- Instructions: Click
to search for
a document containing the instructions that describe how a user should use this
template. For example, the instructions might describe the format of the files that
should be in place before a simulation process runs.
- Policy: Select the policy governing the simulation
template that will be created. The Policy field is visible only
if there is more than one policy available for the template.
-
Click Create to open the template in Process Experience Studio.
