Locking and Unlocking a Template

You can lock a template to prevent other users from modifying it. You can then unlock it to restore modification access.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Create or open a simulation template.

Lock a Template

From the toolbar, click Lock .

The template is locked, and only you can modify it. Other users can only open the template in Process Experience Studio with read-only access.

To see the user that locked the template, see Locked By in the template Properties .

Unlock a Template

From the toolbar, click Unlock .

Important: Users with the Leader or Owner role can unlock objects locked by another user.
