When you define a pressure outlet, you can describe where the opening is and the static pressure at that opening. The outlet location can be either the surface of the fluid or an opening in the model's fluid domain. The outlet boundary should be located where solution gradients are small and where you can avoid regions of flow reversal. Fluid recirculation at pressure outlets, which is allowed by default, can be disabled. You can configure several aspects of the recirculating fluid, including the fluid fraction in multi-phase simulations, the temperature, if enabled, and the mass fraction of each non-background species in multi-species simulations. |
