Applying Initial Pressure

You can define the initial temperature of a part or a fluid region at the start of a simulation.

  1. From the Initial Conditions section of the action bar, click Initial Pressure .
  2. Optional: Customize the default Name for the initial pressure.
  3. Select the geometry supports in the model.

    For a flow simulation, an initial pressure must be applied to one or more parts or fluid regions. You can click the glyph in the model to select the fluid domain.

  4. Enter a value for the Static Gauge Pressure.
  5. Click OK.
