  1. From the Zones section of the action bar, click MRF Zone .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
  3. Specify the angular velocity of the MRF zone rotation.

Click to apply a scale factor or amplitude to the angular velocity magnitude, then specify either or both of the following:

    OptionDescription
Scale factor A multiplier that is applied to the angular velocity magnitude.
Amplitude Name of the amplitude curve that defines the magnitude of the angular velocity.
  4. Enter the magnitude of the angular velocity.
  5. Optional: Select the axis system and the axis about which the zone rotates.
    Axis systemDefinition steps
Global Aligns the local feature triad with the global coordinate system.
Local Aligns the local feature triad with a selected axis system in the model.
Specify Allows you to orient the local feature triad directly. Right-click the feature triad glyph on the model to orient the local feature triad.
  6. Click OK.
